Finally got a working external NVME enclosure working. I tried two Orico enclosures. They would disconnect from M1 Mini after ~5min.
Switched to Sabrent. Rock solid for 12+ hours.
I wonder if Realtek chipset works better with my M1?
I was in the car today and a song came on the radio. I used Shazaam on my iPhone to identify the song but realized I’d never remember it later.
It would be great if that song were thrown into a list I could save for later.
Shortcuts to the rescue.
When I got home I quickly threw together this Shortcut. Now, when I save “Hey Siri, save song” my phone will identify a song and save it to a note.

Microsoft is working on some cool AI powererd image enhancement algorithms. They are applying it to Bing maps and the results look really good.
I believe in the right to repair the things I own. I’m pleased that iRobot does too.
We recently had a bit of a catastrophe with Stewart (our Roomba) and dog 💩. Luckily the iRobot makes their products incredibly servicable. I was able to disassemble, clean and reassemble the product myself.
Now, Stewart is back in action continuing to keep our house free from dirt and pet hair.
The junk mail filters in Apple Mail are way too aggressive. I keep getting real mail dumped in there. I almost missed something important.

Thank god for Unraid. Was able to drop in a replacment for a bad drive. It’s rebuilding now. I love how this just works.
