I’m migrating away from Mailchimp to Sendy.
As someone who used to build email marketing apps, this is a solid app and a great value.
I chose it mainly b/c I outgrew the Mailchimp free plan. The Essentials plan doesn’t have the right mix of functionality for me so I’d have to go with the $17/month plan.
Sendy is a one time payment of $69. I’m co-hosting it so I can amortize hosting costs across my servers. Emails is delivered via AWS SES so my sending costs are really low.
You do need some technical know how to set it up but if you can stand up a Wordpress installation you can do this.
